Dr. Sok Takes Education To Warmer Climates

Our Dr. Alan Sokoloff recently returned from teaching at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico, sharing with students and doctors from the island.   Dr. Sok covered topics that included developing emergency action plans, concussion awareness, and surviving in a sports medicine training room.

Special thanks to Dr. Mayda Serrano Alvira for doing all the work behind the scenes and at the event to make it one of the most successful ever at the university.  Dr. Sok shared, “This is a very special place.  At this university, medical school students work side by side with chiropractic school students, seeing patients, doing rounds and rotations together providing each student, a more well-rounded health care background”, says Dr. Sok.

Education for students and doctors continues to be one of his main passions.
