Functional Movement Screens (FMS) for Combat Athletes with Heroes of Tomorrow
Description: Heroes of Tomorrow is an army of veterans and other experts who donate their time and share their experiences to prepare Americans who have made the heroic choice to serve our country and communities. Heroes of Tomorrow volunteers provide FREE group training and information that will enable these prospective candidates to excel in military, law enforcement, public safety, and fire fighter training. The Yalich Clinic is working with the Heroes of Tomorrow to help keep them in the game by performing Functional Movement Screens (FMS) with their combat athletes. This broad screen helps to identify movement dysfunctions in fundamental movement patterns essential to normal function and helps the doctor and athlete identify what further testing or recommendations are appropriate.
