Dr. Sok recently traveled to Chicago for the University of Maryland Terps Men’s Basketball team first appearance at the Big 10 Tournament. “Working with basketball players is obviously very different than working on other athletes, especially football players”. Dr. Sok went on to discuss how some conditions people experience can be very specific to what they do. “You have to also realize that these are taller than average people living in a smaller world. Regular tasks such as brushing your teeth at the sink or walking through a door way can cause you to bend in positions over and over again which can put too much stress on the body.”
The Terp unfortunately made an early exit from the Tournament by losing to Michigan State in the semi-finals. Now it is on to the NCAA Tournament where they have not been in a number of years. Go Terps!
