Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant
Our outpatient physical therapy clinic has an immediate opening for a 32-40 hour full-time Maryland licensed physical therapist assistant. Located within a prominent rehabilitation facility, this PT office services a patient population including; post-operative, low back pain, chronic pain, and general orthopedics. The PTA will work directly with an experienced PT, and will treat patients in a one-on-one environment. The treatment facility is newly expanded and remodeled. Additionally, therapists enjoy the constant (one-on-one) assistance from a trained rehab technician. Growth potential is endless. Benefits available are medical, dental and vision coverage. Full Time Physical Therapist

Yalich Clinic has an immediate opening for an experienced and passionate physical therapist. In this role, you will be a leader in our physical therapy division, treating a diverse patient population in a one-on-one environment. Your caseload will include general orthopedics, chronic pain and post-surgery and your team comprised of a PTA, a PT tech and passionate support staff. Yalich offers a unique multidisciplinary setting where you will work alongside the official team chiropractors for professional, collegiate and local sports teams. Your professional growth will be encouraged and fostered.
Your typical day includes:
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, and consult with other specialists. Review patients’ functional needs and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Design and implement plans of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development and practice within defined standards of care
- Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs; Promote patient’s healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Communicate effectively with patients, referring physicians, internal clinic and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes·
- Document patient care services via EMR
- Direct the assistance of support staff as needed to achieve patients’ functional goals
- Provide direction and leadership to staff as needed and act as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, or workshops
