This weekend, the Yalich Clinic of Glen Burnie hosted the Graston Technique Module 1 Training for all types of clinicians and providers to learn the basics of this instrument assisted technique. Learning these skills enables clinicians to effectively treat the adverse effects of scar tissue and fascial restriction, as well as improve and maintain optimal ranges of motion while reducing pain. In attendance was not only our very own doctor of physical therapy, Sabina McCarthy, but other physical therapists, assistants, athletic trainers and chiropractors.
The use of our specially designed instruments and protocols has been a recognized part of the manual therapy industry for more than 25 years. Graston Technique® has become standard protocol in many chiropractic offices, universities and hospital-based outpatient facilities as well as athletic and industrial on-site treatment settings.
